Backlinks not showing

Hello All Experts,
Thanks for looking this issue in advance.
I was trying to build some backlinks for my website since 4-5 days and linking my website from there.
But when i try to look for the backlinks then it shows i have 0 backlinks for my website.

Can anyone help me on this.

  • it will take some time, around a month to show. Use Google Webmaster tool to see your back links as it is the best platform to see back links of your owned sites
  • The backlinks need to be indexed by the search engines first so it could take anything from a week to a number of months for a particular link to be detected.

  • Too soon really. As said above may take weeks to months depending on traffic of the site you left your link on I think?
  • It takes a while for backlinks to show up in google, much less the backlink analytic software out there. Focus on building quality backlinks and don't worry about them getting indexed.

  • How do you to find out that your backlinks are still 0?
    4-5 days is a short time to get the backlinks indexed. Agree, that it might take about months to get indexed and recognized by most of the backlink checker.
  • Try using backlinkwatch, I have found that it usually updates quicker than webmastertools. As said before though, it can take months for backlinks to show so don't worry about it too much.
  • Can you be more specific ? Which tools are you using to find backlinks of your niche ?
