Am I missing something?

Being new to ppc, I am taking it slow. After building a landing page, with 65 clicks I had four sales. I was very excited. But the next 100 clicks brought nothing.
My first campaign was similar, different product same results. On launch my conversion was 3% for a short while, then nothing. Two hundred clicks and nothing.
Is this a common phenomenon, or am I missing something obvious?

  • Very common - this is one of the frustrating things.

    It comes in waves.

    This can be a problem with PPC as you can spend and get no results.
  • So are there any tips, tricks or solutions or is acceptance the proven method? I am having a damned hard and inconsistent time with PPC. Someone has to have broken the code, legitimately, without charging an obscene amount for the information (usually recycled crap). Please help.
  • try to split test on your offers and landing page .

    Also make sure that your ad copy is consistent with what your offer claims .
