Does delayed duplicate content hurts ?

Hi all need your expert advise please ..

I have a friend who runs a network of blogs ..
When I post content there , a few other sites gets it too and it helps in traffic as I will include " for more read ..... " kind of links.

As I really have no time to create unique articles for this external site , what I will do is use about half my articles content as a prelude followed by links for more info. Ie. it is duplicated text consisting of 50% of the orignal art le on my site except for the link text.

Am wondering will this hurt my seo and prevent me from ranking higher ? The fact remains that this partner does help a chuck of my traffic ....

  • Of course, duplicate content will hurt your site. Either you write unique content often or you spin your article to a deep level of uniqueness.
  • You should be searching for the definition of content syndication vs duplicate content in the forum. Your is considered to be content syndication.

    From my experience, if you build links to syndicated content, it will still work.
  • Hmmm thanks for advice. So my is considered syndicated ? Will that duplicated content hurt my main site ?
  • Just a small comment - why use a full half of your article? I have seen these kindsof articles on other sites and they only use the first paragraph. That leaves more for the link...
  • Definitely duplicate content can hit your website very badly, according to me create unique articles and don’t publish the same articles on other blog network or anywhere else. You can create new articles for a blog network to avoid any content penalty.
