Google's Update

According to Google's Penguin update we can't post same article or Press Release on different sites otherwise the post will be deleted. Is it also applicable in the case of Social Bookmarking and Forum Posting?

Wrong understanding of the update. It won't literally get deleted. Google basically just promoted the importance of unique content.

Yeah ! I think the person misguide me who told me so. Thanks for this. Also I want to know if I can use same content on different Social media sites.

Not recommended. Go with unique content that will attract humans all by itself, driving the first source of traffic, and then the second source from Google will take care of itself.
