Find other sites that focus on your niche, find celeb sites, etc. Work on link exchanges or guest posts or email list recruitment exchanges.

Since you have worked on your SEO you might have to promote your site a bit too. As icoachu said, find some sites on your niche and do link exchange. Also find blogs on your niche and make some quality comments and try to participate on forums relevant to your niche.

Hey coolidge... I would keep building out your "keyword tree"...

If you're getting 1k page views per day then you are obviously optimizing well... now keep building out more content on keywords that are relative to your niche... find more exact match kw's with min 1k searches per month and max 40k competing pages... then target these.

For instance you might find 15 good kw's and add 2 articles per kw over the next 30 days...

Over the next month you'll be amazed at how much of a traffic increase you can get if you keep using the tactics that have got you to where you are already...

I believe that only good content makes site more popular and help to get good traffic.
Useful content help to get good page rank also . cause original content is always supported by google penguin. So I think you have to make your site more useful for visitor . then you should take a look into SEO.

I would rather focus more on off-site optimization to increase my ranking. For me off-site gives a larger boost on ranking than on-site. This from my experience of ranking my sites. I have a site that outranks another site and that site is almost on-site optimized while mine has no on-site optimization done. Quality backlinks can definitely beat your competitors.

Traffic is all about Content and then Backlinks & social media.

You can try guest blogging and article submission to generate traffic. In this context social media optimization also plays an important role as you can draw good amount of traffic from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Relevant forums can also become a good option in order to generate good amount of traffic.

Look into paid traffic. And also, look into social media, such as creating a group, which will bring direct traffic to your site everyday.

i didn't do too much link building. I know I can buy links from fiverr.com but I heard that negatively affects your search engine rankings.

I am averaging close to 400 search engine results per day. Is that pretty good for 3 months?

I also write about 5 to 12 articles a day
