I followed 15+ case studies this year and I did a lot of testing on my own too , if you buy 5-10 gigs using your brain you may get few results on super easy keywords , but if you're going to spend 50$ on fiverr for crap it's better to buy few high quality backlinks to see some real results.

About feedbacks I suggest you to follow crorkservice, they make xx,xxx$ /m on fiverr , every negative feedback on their gigs gets deleted in few days. I personally tested few of their gigs , 90% of their backlinks don't even get indexed , edu etc they make 200+ comments on the same page etc etc etc.

High pr posts most of the time are from faked pr sites etc, so 95% of time using fiverr for SEO is a waste of money , but what do you expect? Ranking money sites with 5$ gigs? I use fiverr occasionally for short video creation , testimonials , voiceover etc , but that's it.

So what you are saying is just use bookmarks? The key to seo is diversity. Different types of backlinks with different anchor texts. NOT just use bookmarks/comments/web2.0/profiles/etc..

Fiverr is a great resource, but you have to know how to use it. First, always get social backlinks because Google gives more strength to social media. Google likes to see people talking about your site, that's one of over 200 Google signals. ("Doesn't count as duplicate content.") If your package consist of more than 250-500, AVOID. Always try the gig on a webpage rather than the main domain, Google rank pages not websites! Don't link the webpage to the main domain, "GUILTY BY ASSOCIATION" If the gig get's you penalized delete the page and try again. .gov and .edu links are very dangerous. There are so many .edu and .gov sites simply because anyone can get them for the right amount of money. Always aim for high quality, high quality always comes in low quantity on Fiverr. NEVER EVER GET MORE THAN 50-100 .GOV OR .EDU BACKLINKS IN A DAY. Google will catch on almost automatically and mark your site as spam if they are not relevant backlinks, so pace yourself, other marketers are getting the same exact backlinks, use common sense. Google likes longevity, if your site is 30 days or newer hold off on Fiverr. If your site is 31 days - 90 days 100 RELEVANT backlinks a day for 14 days is good(PR 2-5), just let Google index your backlinks at their pace, fresh content helps. 91 days or older, go ape shit! Nah, but relevant backlinks vs irrelevant backlinks 65-35%. Anchor text should vary 70-80% main keywords, 5-10% domain name, 2-5% Click Here/Check This Out, 2-5% your name/ a name. There you go Fiverr and then some. This isn't the Holy Grail, this is what get's me number 1 Google rankings and it took me a lot of trial and error. P.S. You could rank a new site fast, it has to be extremely relevant, keyword density under 5%,(I prefer 1-3% but you're not me) keyword proximity should be every 2 sentences, minimum. Title and h-tags keyword density should be 45-60%. Example: keyword "black tube socks" Title: Black Tube Socks "Google considers that keyword stuffing" Optimized Title: All Black Tube Socks: 50 Percent Off. And on page seo must be right before you even think about building backlinks. Building backlinks to crap content is like putting whip cream on shit, it's still shit. I hope this helps...
