Bodybuilding / Weightlifting Adsense niche?

Anybody have any experience with the bodybuilding or weightlifting niche for adsense or whatever monetization method you choose?

Some good keywords in there for sure! Plus, it's an area I'm familiar with so I could be writing the articles instead of paying someone to do it...

Thanks.

I don't know if it is a good paying niche or not. Is it?

Thanks for the input. I guess what I'm asking is, is the competition high? I suppose with the correct low competition long tail keywords then I'd be good...

The good thing about this business is that "People don't succeed cause they aim too high and miss, no, they aim too low... and hit. Most people don't aim at all." (Les Brown)

Yes, the competition in that niche is fierce... but if you can find the right long tail keywords to target, you should be good. Perhaps you could make a site on a particular training method like HTT or Heavy Duty or something. Don't make it too general.

Yes, I just used the google keyword Tool just for certain leg workouts and there are tons of low competition keywords / phrases that are 3-5 words long that are between 1k - 5k global searches over $.80 CPC.
