SEO definitely isn't a strong point of mine.. I've researched it, I know what it does, but I just don't know how to use it/do it! my traffic at the moment is all coming from social networking and seems to have plateaued and now starting to decreases, so Im trying to turn to SEO to bring in organic traffic, making my life a lot more easier! Could somebody just explain to me how to use SEO and help me to rank my page high up (would happily pay to be taught)!

Onto adsense.. I started my first blog site a month ago, had 5538 views, only made £1.22, how can I increase this by quiet a large amount (obviously increases traffic but also conversion wise)?

Regards

If you want are true opinions of the value of your work, We need to see your work.
    We need more information.

Now on the seo part and how to do it, you are going to get a large amount of conflict from everyone.

I base my sites on organic traffic but I do not expect to make much at first with it. So I use other methods in the meantime. You should have some organic traffic already if you had that many hits.

Like I said post alot more information and people will jump at the chance to critique you, Its what we do best :-) Criticizing lol

    Hey, Cooperman16.

That is not a lot of money for the amount of views you have. You can potentially do some testing with your adsense ads, change the colors, placement ect. You can find plenty of information about how to do that with a google search. That will potentially increase your adsense earnings. If you do not have a lot of time/money invested into that website you can always start a new one. Why?

Because some niches will not convert well with adsense. An example of this would be a website about advanced computing. There are niches where most of the visitors know what an ad is and won't click it. There are also niches where people don't know what an ad is, but that niche just doesn't yield a good CTR, or decent CPC. You would have to make up for the low CPC or CTR with a huge amount of volume if you want to stay in the same niche.

As to increasing your traffic with SEO, it is pretty easy. Make sure your on-page SEO is good, I would stick with just your titles, descriptions and URL. If that is good, get yourself s few high-quality guest post links that will pass some authority to your website. After that, write as much content that you can and make sure that content really solves a problem for your visitors. Give your website and guest post links some time to age, and that is really all there is to increasing organic search engine traffic. Good luck.

There are so many methods to SEO. I had no clue about affiliate marketing, SEO, etc and just created a blog one day. I submitted to tons of directories and used link exchanges and surprise, my blog was ranked on the first page for a keyword. I wasn't even trying to get it ranked.

There are tons of sites that the search engines pick up like hubpages, squidoo, blogger...my blog is on blogger. You could try creating a blog on a certain niche and than start exchanging links with those that have a high PR. Submit to tons of directories and try linkexchange.
