Hello guys!!

Recently I have question how much time do I need in order for my squidoo lens to appear on the first page of google.com
The answer was that it depends on the competition, the backlinks, the quality content and much more...and it may takes 1-2 weeks and sometimes 3-4 months...but My question here is why my artile on squidoo is losing the power and rank lower every 3-4 days????? I was the last in the page 2 and after a couple of days I was ranked first in second page....now after weeks I am in the third page...If you say that I need months to rank first then why within some days I am up and down?? And in this situation getting lower and lower.....

  • Rankings can fluctuate from day to day, this is normal. The path to the top is not a straight line up.

    Keep building links and you will eventually get to where you want to go.
  • You just need to keep building high quality backlinks and adding good unique content...
  • It depends. Sometimes it can get indexed in hours. Sometimes it takes days, even weeks! Keep building backlinks to it and you will see it indexed.

    To come up with content is shows the power of content and to being with more is shows the importance of that content .Their are other same niche information provider may they share unique and quality like you and Google place them in top and indirectly a reason for old one to loose their search rank over SERP's .
  • The two most likely factors to be causing this are that link building isn't continuing at the pace Google expected and/or backlinks to the page are being deleted rapidly

    As others have said, it is important to build backlinks on a consistent basis. But if you are finding your links are being deleted in large numbers, then you will need to modify the link building methods you are using.
  • Don't think that, all others will stay stagnant in their positions and you will just take the first position. When you are trying to get the position, others are also doing the same. You are losing your position means others are doing better than you.
