Hi,

Just wanted to know if the Microniche sites making money with ADSENSE still works big way or are just myth now. I know people were making good money some time back in it, but still that market have potential or it is saturated now ?

Please share your views.

Of course its possible. Many people that make decent money operate a few dozen sites. I make money with E-commerce, but some small MNS sites bring in some extra cash!

It's possible the game has just changed, no more blasting 1 url with 1 keyword until it gets to position 1. Here's a good post from microniche masters regarding just the thing, I've recommended this post multiple times as they actually have data to backup their claims:

Great post! I read the Microsite blog post you linked; it's nice to have some concrete data and proof rather than speculation. Time are turbulent now, and this post at least gives marketers some direction.

      • Micro niche sites can still generate income and attract traffic. As long as you choose a less competitive niche and provide high quality content, you will succeed. The way you promote your content and build relationships with your readers is essential.

You can definitely make money with micro niche sites. Do a search with google keyword tool search for keywords with low to medium competition of at least1000 daily searches. Choose a domain with the keywords you want to rank for - keyword.com, keyword.net, keyword.org. Ad 4-6 five hundred word articles with your embedded keywords within the articles.

I set up 1200 WordPress websites this way. These sites generate between $2 - $500
per/month in adsense income. I added an autobloging plugin to update each site with new content automatically (WPRobot, MultiPress) It is the easiest way to generate a nice residual income on autopilot.

You make that much money whilst making the most common mistake of searching the google keyword tool for low to medium competition eh?

Micro sites do work fine, its all about making sure that you get the right niches though and right industry.

Sometimes the PPC cost or search volume isn't really what it is. So look for broad niches that you can target more than one keyword for. That's one thing that people make the mistake of, trying to do is limiting their overall traffic ability because they are targeting one main keyword that just doesn't bring any traffic.

Autoblogging is definitely not dead but many people frown upon it. It depends on how you do it. If the way you autoblog produces crap content then yes that's not a good idea for more reasons than Penguin and Panda.

It all comes down to the quality of your content. If someone cruising your site can't tell that it's an autoblog then you've done your job and then naysayers can frown away while you laugh all the way to the bank.

      I wouldn't pay anything. Here's why:

      1. For these sites to work you gotta do some amazing keyword research upfront. Most providers have no clue.

      2. Building the actual websites is easy and doesn't require much time/effort.

So yea... micro niche sites still work, no doubt. Some of my 2 week old micro sites are already pulling in £5/day with Adsense. Sooo easy to rank right now - Penguin and other updates wiped out entire niches.

It's all about keyword research. It's better to have a 7/10 success rate than go blind and end up with something like 1/10 or worse.

I am finding the same although not as much as £5 a day, more like £1.

For those 2 week old sites have to done any link building? Or is just ranked highly from good KW research and an EMD?

I used to do £1-£2 a day with small niche sites until I discovered 3 high paying and very click-happy niches. Yesterday my average (per site) Adsense earnings were at £5.88 per micro site - but that's slightly above average. Things really picked up this month for me, mostly due to better research, more experience with websites and SEO, and discovering a few great niches.

Expanding my site portfolio right now, going after tons of related keywords with my mini sites and planning to build a large website later in the year.

And yea I definitely build links. Most of the keywords only need 2-5 strong links to rank (I then build 50 or so links with brand name anchors for diversity - just in case). Very simple and extremely effective.

Most sites aren't EMD's - so hard to get decent EMD's these days.
