Facebook "Like" Exchange

Hi.

How ethical would it be to say to someone,"I'll Like one of your site's pages if you Like one of mine"?

Instead of a link exchange, it's a Like exchange.

  • Yes it looks strange when people do likes exchange, but I think they do these things because Google consider votes as a popularity signal.

    Means if a page has more likes then the content of that page is good and informative, but I think it can provide us traffic but not business because the people those like our page are doing same thing they are not our targeted customers.

    I can not say properly that how much time Google will take to track this also because these also not natural likes like natural links.

    • It looks shady to me, but in the end, what are you gonna get out of it? That's the important question. Think long term and focus on attracting the likes with quality content.
