How would you go about finding threads within a forum that have the highest PR? I have a PR checker tool that I use, but I mean how would you search on Google to find the highest ranking threads from that particular forum?

Does using "forum" or [link]forum[link/] work? It doesn't seem to be for me.

Why else would you want to locate the high PR threads in a forum? It's to spam them with links.

No, not at all. I'm saying if I have a specific niche...I want to comment and take part in the conversation of those high PR threads. I didn't intend to spam the threads, but my signature on those specific sites could have my link in my signature.

That isn't spamming, that's just white-hat SEO, right? I totally intended to add meaningful input to the conversations and establish myself as a semi-authority within the niche while gaining some link juice at the same time.

Just participate in the forum in an honest way then. No need to pick and choose threads based on PR.

It's not all that effective though for SEO.

I don't find anything wrong with that. Rarely disagree with Mike F but done that way its actually less spammy than blog comments. Provided you really participate and know the subject theres some traffic to be gained as well.

Shoot me a PM if you want a tip - not going to get into it in an open thread for the exact reasons MIke F is concerned about. Too many people just want to spam.

Wanted to point out though that Mike has a point about effectiveness. Most popular threads have a ton load of links on a page and you only rarely find a really High PR thread

Don't try to find HIGH pr threads. You can take part in a thread that after the update get PR3+ and the older ones can receive PR N/a // Participate in the forum to have fun or read/give any advice and tips. Do NOT spam!
