You can start doing some SEO... but, frankly, your site would benefit much more from further content and... well, change that theme and make it a bit more professional too.

I would try and establish some more content on your site first, once you get to 10-15 pages you can start to think about off site seo.

In the mean time make sure you have everything done right for on site.

I'd say most importantly you should focus on building quality content for your site. This will help you gain a nice loyal following and the SEO can follow alongside.

  • Are you new to SEO? If so then i would suggest reading up on some threads. SEO isn't easy

You should have started yesterday, but don't over do it. Google may penalize if you do too much too fast on a young site.

I'm assuming you mean off page SEO (link building)?

If your post is useful and quality content links should happen naturally. (Of course, you may decide to create links to the post yourself as well).

What a lot of newbies seem to forget is that building links to a crappy piece of content won't get you anywhere (won't make you money).

I would recommend testing your content and seeing if it's good FIRST!

There are a number of ways to see if your content is good or not (and they're free).

    1. Submit it to Reddit and other social bookmarking sites

Submitting to these sites can give you live feedback of what others think of your content. Reddit particularly can be very harsh. If your content sucks reddit members will let you know (I know this from experience). If your content is great they'll let you know through an active discussion of comments on your post.

    2. Submit it to Forums

Re-write your content and submit it to a forum related to your niche. See if it gets a discussion going and lots of participation.

Generally if your content sucks people will either ignore it or participate in how much they hate it.

A good piece of content that "passes" these checks of "content satisfaction" will not only perform better at the top of google, it will get links naturally and effortlessly.

This is true. I've posted many links to my many blogs past and present. Fortunately I have had a loy of good feedback but there were a few times where I got reamed for content. Not from lack of structure but for some opinions and word choices. The Reddit community is definitely a good test. Just be sure to respond to comments. It builds trust and loyalty.

Start as if you do not know how to SEO. Best thing would be to focus first on your blog. Content and on-page SEO.

Start on the SEO right away and keep adding content at a consistent rate. Google rewards active sites that continuously update their content and we all know what quality link building can do so you really need to be building links and updating your content.

Well, well, well. Money making is a tough and competitive niche.

If you're really serious about making money with you money making blog, then you should first build some keyword-rich (but not keyword stuffed) content, not just one article.

Then begin to build links and doing other SEO things.

But if you're new to SEO, better read an SEO guide first.

Yes, I am new to SEO. So can you suggest me any SEO guide? And how can I build keyword rich content? While writing that blog post I have added AdF.ly, money make as tags so are they the keywords of that blog post?

Initially start with directory submission, do not give high power to your website.

Just search for an "SEO book" or an "SEO guide" on Google.

As for the keywords, they should be present in your page's titles, in the name of your post, in the post itself. Certain important keywords should be highlighted using bold or italic fonts.

But, before you begin, do a thorough keyword research. It's a very competitive niche and you may choose to target longer and less competitive keywords.

But better read a guide first.

    Good luck.
