Tips On Backlinks

Hey guys,

I've been researching a lot, but the one thing I haven't delved too deep into is backlinks.

I've done a search on the forum but there are a LOT of threads about it. So it's safe to say I don't know where to start.

Does anyone have any links, articles or threads that are really informative and helpful to help me build quality backlinks? I don't want to know how to submit 6000034304932 back links. I just need to know how to get the process started.

    • Yeah, they are the easiest form of link building. BUT really the most SPAMMED ones!

      Building quality links after so many updates in Google can be a tough task based on my observation. If you will look for some latest tips on how you can get good quality links, you'll surely notice that majority of them comes down to "earning links".

      You will see something like - send an email for a link exchange, or guest posting, or something like that.

      Or, write interesting and compelling contents so that people would link to it.

      Those are the most common tips nowadays when it comes to getting good quality links. You have to earn them. However, the option of buying links could also be put into consideration.

  • Purchase links from good blogs with low obl and high backlinks...
  • You want to know where to start. As of i know its better to start Social bookmarking, Guest blogging. Build your backlinks with quality and do it slowly. Don't spam anywhere.
  • Don't listen to the first comment that was rubbish.

    Slowly build high quality backlinks such as:
    1.) Social bookmarking
    2.) Articles
    3.) Blog commenting
    4.) .EDU links

    And you will be fine.

    • I plan on doing everything the right way. I would rather not lose the game with google.

      I feel like such a newb, this is why I was asking for any links/threads. What is social bookmarking and .EDU links? And when you say articles are you regarding going to a site like ezine and posting an article there with a reference to my site?
