Affiliate Redirect Outranks Actual Page

We've been dealing with some declining rankings on product pages on our site. We are a strong site (PR 5 homepage, most product pages PR5, 4 with a few 3's and 2's). We have 284 product pages. Additionally, we have thousands of pages of information content, all highly ranked.

We just did a site redesign. We carefully checked all of our SEO to ensure a smooth transfer. Immediately following the update to a new CMS system, we noticed several of our product pages (roughly 20, and some of them big earners) were being outranked in a branded search (searching for the specific product name) by one of our affiliates.

Even stranger, the affiliate link was a redirect, but on most of them it carried our SEO description but their title tag. On others, they had both of our tags. These links are appearing directly where we used to sit in the rankings.

Now the REALLY strange part, we did a search on the google index to see specific urls and if they were indexed. In the index, on these pages where the affiliate is outranking us (and we are nowhere to be found in the top 10 pages) it shows the affiliate link as the one indexed for our site!

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

This is a tricky situation.. May I ask you if you yourself had to do any redirects when redesigning your site?

  Yes, we had to do several. Some for pages where new pages replaced old, some where we had new pages that were a better fit for some links. We found part of the problem had to do with an affiliate making a mistake. But that has been remedied. However, other affiliates are popping up for some key pages as well. Utlimately, we're now only talking about maybe 20 pages out of 284, but some of those are high earners.

I DON'T REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE SAY IN THE ACTUAL SENCE BUT I RATHER ADVICE YOU CHECK THE METAL TAG AND THE ARRANGEMENT OF THE AFFILIATE THAT ARE OUTRANK YOURS ...SEE THE CONTENT MANAGEMENT FROM THE SITE SO THAT YOU CAN RESOLVE ON EXACTLY WHAT MAKE THEM DO BETTER
