Banning Google Bot (IP Range 206.85) From AdWords Account?

Getting invalid clicks from what appears to be the Google Bot, these clicks are not getting taken away, wasting lots of my budget.

Has anyone banned the Google Bot IPs from their AdWords account? Does it affect anything? All I can tell is then the bot won't be able to see or click on my ads.

Good idea or bad idea?

    The real Google Search bots wouldn't be clicking on your ads.
    They will verify your site and its contents, but they wouldn't be clicking on your ad to do that.
    If you think they really are, you should tell Adwords support.

    Maybe Googlebot impersonation? Click-spammer that uses Googlebot user-agent?
    You can use Botopedia.org Ip verification method to check this out. It will show all verified user-agents and cross-check IP data.
