Hey all,

I just got my adsense approved finally! I am now running it on my site that gets roughly 100 visits/day. Also on my blog that gets around 20-30/day. What kind of return do you think I can expect to get from this? I would like to acheive around $1-2/day so that I can move my website to a VPS host.

Thanks!

That would depend on your niche. if you have a high paying niche then you don't need thousands of visitors to reach your goal. What i can say is you have to wait for the first month to see what is your CTR.

    Thanks

You're out of luck on that one. I don't think I have ever heard of someone getting reinstated after a ban. What I suggest is you make sure you know the reason why you were banned so you are sure not to repeat it again, and then ask a family member to sign up as your silent proxy. You can always ask a friend as well, and if you need to offer a percentage of your earnings for the trouble.

All I can say is form a corporation and then don't ever get banned again

  • Another way to get back into Adsense, is to register a new account with business info instead of personal info. Register a business, get the basic components that Adsense application, it takes 1 day to get your biz license, etc....

This way you don't use someone else who can take over the account because there name is on it....

Congrats on being accepted! You won't regret it, I make 2k (British Sterling) a month from adsense on just one site. And you can use the same account on loads of sites. It's a great little earner.

    Congrats!

Depending on your placement you must have at least 500 visitors per day to make around $1 and above..

How long do you wait to get your adsense approved? A quicker way is use "blogger" to create an blog ... then apply for adsense account. then Get your adsense id and put it into your other websites to earn adsense income. If you use your own-design website to "apply", you probably have to fulfil many G's requirements before they grant you and adsense id.

I agree. This is the fastest way to get an adsense account approved from my experience. Just open up a blogger.com blog and apply for an adsense account for it.

A friend of mine applied for an adsense account over two weeks ago using a blogger blog and is still waiting. By the way the blog has over ten post 500+ words of original content.

        Is this usual?

Getting clicks depends on various factors such as -

    Placement of your ads.
    Colour combination which you used
    Source of traffic
    Content of your website.

These factors are quite important and you should consider it very closely.

Congratulations! Adsense is good but most of the time I added several options to make it better like Clickbank and other network.

    freezzo,

    Congratulations!

    joe0074,

Can you tell us why you were banned?

Just in case you were banned for click fraud (where someone is clicking your ads a bunch of times), once you have a new adsense account you can add a script to your site that blocks people from clicking your ads too many times -- something like Adsense Click Lock or a similar free PHP script. This is assuming you have paid hosting; it won't work on a regular Blogger blog.

Well, earnings depend on many factors Ad placement, site popularity, niche, competitiveness are just some of it.

Anyway, just create tons of quality content that will be useful for your visitor, it's a great start on making money online 'coz it can generate visitors to your blog/ site. Keep in mind, traffic means profit!
