Beginner: ranking products site domainwise
- SEO |
I'm a young -want to be- internet marketeer from the Netherlands.
I've been making websites for quite some time now and I'm very skilled in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (including jQuery and backbone.js) but I am tired of working for others. Instead I want to use these skills to make my own "products" (niche sites).
But I've been wondering this particular case:
Let's take Harry Potter. I want to sell Harry Potter books. And let's assume best-case scenario that all domains are still free.
We have seven books:
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
And I want to rank all seven of these books I want to rank on a general keyword like "harry potter books".
To rank each book a nice domain could be:
harrypotter*com/philosophers-stone/
harrypotter*com/books/philosophers-stone/
harrypotterbooks*com/philosophers-stone/
But to rank on "harry potter books" harrypotterbooks*com or harrypotter*com/books/ looks nice.
How would you do something like this? I am not interested in ranking on keywords like "harry potter movies" or "harry potter dvd" etc.
