Google Analytics Vs. SERP Position

Hi

Why there is a difference between positions shown in Google Analytic -> Search Engine Optimization -> Queries and actual position shown in SERPs?

    Results change based on several factors: geography/location, google plus, minor algorithm updates, etc

    Hence, depending on who is searching, you will always get slightly different results.

    Thanks for the reply.

    There is always a difference b/w the positions shown in Analytic and actual search for US. On the other hand these things are same for Australia, UK and other countries. Keywords are at the exact positions when checked using relevant Google site like Google.au for Australia.
