Backlink question

If I created a link back to my site with a Squidoo lens and then started creating some links back to the Squidoo lens would this make the link in the Squidoo lens which is pointing back to my site stronger?

Sounds confusing, eh?

  • Links from Squidoo lenses are worth nothing as they are very easy to spam. However, if you have a Squidoo lens with LOTS of links pointing to it then yes, it could pass some link benefit along to your site...but you're really better off just getting those links pointing directly to your website instead of going via squidoo....not really sure why you'd actually want to do that anyway.

  • If you will create backlinks to that suquidoo lens or any other website except main website then it will help to get rank higher for that back-linking website and will generate traffic only to main website.So better practice would be if you build backlinks for your main website directly.
