Hi,

So, if I create blogposts on Blogger and somehow link it to my website with the same anchor text always, do I get better rankings in google?

Are those links are dofollows or nofollows?

Thanks

I would say Yes to your question. If you use Blogger and send a backlink to your website it will be a dofollow. Do you use SEO Quake it will help you see all this information.

Alright, then it's worth working on it. I will add Seo quake to my browser too.

    Thanks,
    Cheers

Not really. There's pretty much no value in what you're doing. Yeah it's a whitehat link but it has no credibility. In terms of link building, think of it as votes. A brand new blogger backlink has no credibility (yet, unless you promote that blogger) whereas a backlink from an older site will generally hold more weight.

From where you got these information? Gobbledygook! blogspot is always one of the choices for SEO for contextual backlinks. Usually blogspot blogs get indexed fast. I have some blogspot blogs achieved PR4 even 5 and as a test when I removed the backlink from the blog I saw within 1 week my website gone 3rd page from #1. So if anyone post a blog on blogspot then properly juice up the blog then surely its going to be worth time and money.

You clearly didn't read my post. The OP said "So, if I create blogposts on Blogger..."

        my reply was:

"A brand new blogger backlink has no credibility (yet, unless you promote that blogger)"

You asked where I get my information from, through experience and learnt from those that have tackled competitive industry. My question to you, what's hardest keyword you've worked on?

Well retsek answered some part of my answer. The truth is subdomains whether blogger or weebly or wordpress blah blah blah are working and OP would not fail with web 2.0 blog backlink strategy indeed. Backlink from blogger surely helpful for SEO. No doubt. I have tasted it many many times. Its working and its pretty awesome for low and medium competitive keywords. Yeah you would not be able to be on #1 or even within top 5 by using only these blogs for competitive keywords but still this technique is good enough to push you on at least first or second page if you know how to juice up the buffer sites. Anchor texted Backlinks from Authority, Trusted, Contextual, Relevant, High PR pages are the main trick. You are going to get almost all of these from these subdomains.

Didn't you hear ...there's several high ranking Web 2.0 sites on free blog hosts like blogger and wordpress.com --- so you know what, let's create a bunch of web 2.0 blogs of our own, load them up with ****ty and/or spun content, send a couple of crap links to them and then link them to the money page. PLUS ..all the magical link juice and authority will flow from the High PR domain to the our web 2.0 site on a SUBDOMAIN, it'll look completely natural and Google won't be able tell the difference.

Win, Profit and Tiger blood ++

You clearly haven't studied SEO througly. Subdomains to not inherit link juice especially on blogger / wordpress.com unless there is a direct link from the main domain which is more or less impossible. I'm all for being natural with Google but web2.0 links are rubbish if they are newly created. The only way they have credibility is if they have promoted themselves.

I'll ask you the question as well, what is your hardest keyword you've worked / working on?

I'm currently using this strategy myself along with a variety of other 2.0 sources.
My opinion: "As long as you're creating on different sources and not just blogspot, the links will help over time after they have life". But I agree with Michael Nguyen , consider them as votes now and later on the links will become good link juice if you do things right.

Come on people. You have to start somewhere. Why rely
              on other sites?

Putting a link on a brand new blogger can be better than
putting a link that may never get seen by google on
some pie-in-the-sky page that you don't own.

How do you think people get to be authorities?

Their very own online empire of pages. The sooner you
start, the better. A blogspot blog gives you an instant
              google-friendly place for links.

Not sure why it's such a secret. You will get far more
juice in the long run, and be far more successful, by
creating your very own pages for links and content.

I guess people don't realize that any backlink counted
by google counts and it adds to PR.

In a very short time, you can create a web presence that
can beat the pants off of wannabes.

I'd rather start a squidoo lens, put links on it, then almost
any other link building in my arsenal at the moment. Similar
              to blogger.

You will never, ever, ever ask where to build links again.

You think a PR n/a web 2.0 page is better than a brand
              new PR n/a blogspot?

What happened to google loves freshness?

What they don't love, at the moment, is a bunch of spammed
links on the same worn out 2.0 junk.

Thanks for the feedbacks. I have created Squidoo lenses and Hubpages(PR 1-2 articles) and linked to my website, so I won't create only blogspot blogs for backlink building.

Its good that you have created a lens on squidoo and also listed your content on Hub also but a blog post is also of same use and it is easy to get listed on Blogger or Blog spot.

I think its worth it although I would consider investing in a domain name for a blogger blog in this way you get more SEO value from the backlinks... its only $15 for a domain name and you can easily set it up on blogger to use the domain name. Create a new post once or twice a week and bookmark the posts and use one or two links in your posts to your money website you will find its helpful.

Surround your main site by some Blogger. Then Build links for those blogs. Always remember that its easy to rank the blogger sites than any other sites. As they have the back link to your main site so ultimately the benefit of web 2.0 will go to your main site.
    thanks

A friend of mine had a network of just blogspot blogs (about 30). Whenever he added a new blog it became a pr3 or 4 by the next update just from the links from the other blogspot blogs. He never owned a domain except for one

He also used them to rank his ezine articles until I asked him why he was making money for ezine and not his own website. After that he created his main website and linked that from his blogs and it immediately got a pr4

do both. A link is a link. The longer it stays up the better. If you have a system in place to put in good content for it (and the others you create) then thats better.

Just as long it's not too many (sitewide), you're good to go. Recently I got email from Google Webmaster telling I have unnatural links point to my site and all I can see from webmaster tool is people list my site on their blogroll sidebar which make thousands of backlink. It's not my fault but Google doesn't want to know about it.

Some one has rightly said that "a link is a link". I too agree with his point. A link to your website is always good, no matter from where it comes. Links from blogger are always good for your website and entire search engine optimization service. People do blog commenting for dual purpose. One, it gives them opportunity to share their views. Two, they share their website URLs which may help them get back links for their websites.

That is DOFOLLOW, but it has same effect as a backlink from other web 2.0 sites like wordpress.com, weebly.com and etc. I don't think any specials on blogger.com. But the advantage is, compare to other web 2.0 sites, with blogger.com you can get quicker index from Google.

Whether blogs are good for SEO purposes is actually irrelevant. The content is key. Blogs are simply a publishing mechanism. Having said that, the ability to produce high quality content on an ongoing basis can be made much easier by leveraging blog software - especially for the for non-technical user.
