Need Page Ranking!

Right, my site has been live for a month now, i've only received 6,000 views and only made £1.22 with adsense!

I've been looking into SEO but can't get my head around it! Are there any services I can just get that will get my site ranked on the first page?

My site is Latest Music Releases by the way, any improvements that you feel would help me out, then please let me know!

    Hey man start from the beginning. SEO is foundation stuff and like the foundation your house is built on you want it to be solid. In other words be careful as others can easily convince you to build your foundation on quicksand and house won't be sound.

    i think you should start with onpage optimization first before going into backlinking , and do not hire any unreputed SEO expert as it may lead to decrease in your serps by any of his mistake..

    make sure the page you have content on has at least 1000 words of pure-100% unique content on it. Then pick a backlink service that has great feedback and use them. make certain that your navigation is setup properly and that duplicate content pages are taken care of.

    Then put words on your site. CONTENT

    What I see there is a bunch of posts that consist of a post title, and a YouTube video, along with a bunch of javascript code that displays ads.

    There is so little real content, that AdSense (contextually relevant ads) thinks it appropriate to show a display ad for "Tarheel Basement Systems" on your music site.

    Believe me... if the Google Adsense program can't figure out what your site is about, your immediate problems are related to the lack of on page content.

    Disregard any/all advice given in previous responses (other than the one who offered guidance on "building the foundation"). If no one picked up on this, they obviously are NOT qualified to advise you re: your specific problems.

      cooperman16, it's great you provide a link to your site. There's an obvious problem with your blog: indeed there's hardly any content. So before diving into link building, fix on page stuff first.

      If you're looking into adsense profit with this blog, your task is building readership. Think not only SEO, but social media engagement as well - it's a more natural way to go with blogs.

    1st page rankings is not easy for new sites, you'll keep having google dance when building links. Give it sometime and it should be stable. Also i wouldn't rely only on adsense, get some affiliates to advertise and post some related video. If you need links i am always willing to help.

    It's quite simple: add content, and build links. For getting PR, you should concentrate on getting dofollow links from high PR URLs, but keep in mind that it looks very unnatural if you only have those types of links.
