Anyone experience an in-out-in of the index?

Hey guys, I recently purchased a service here that created 400+ web 2.0 articles and posted link on them pointing to my site. I want to mention that these were public 2.0s. After about 2 weeks, I noticed my page one rankings for several keywords are actually not in the top 100 and other KWs fell only a few positions. I have had this happen in a different scenario and had the KWs pop back. So my estimation is that it will most likely happen again. (Yes, I do have a diverse link scheme)

What are your thoughts on this?

sure, diverse link will give good contribution in ranking. But as I knew after penguin update, the more patient to build the links, the better. It means, if you build 1k links, it's better to spread it to 15 days or even 30 days.

  I'm totally with you on this, the problem is that with most backlink services the tendency is to create all the links at once. It might sound and feel good to have all those links done for you so quickly, but it obviously affects serp behavior in strange ways. Thanks for your input on this.
