MASTERING GOOGLE 2012! ~Video Guide Series~

These videos are awful. So much misinformation in them.

I just watched a few minutes of his latest video and literally laughed out loud. One thing he said was that your new links should not outpace your traffic. So if you get 10 visitors a day, you should not build more than 10 links a day, because Google will right away see that you are getting more links than visitors and throw up a red flag.

There is one fatal flaw with that theory. Google has no ****ing clue how many visitors any of my websites are getting. They know how much traffic I'm getting from their search engine. That's it.

What if I am advertising my site on TV, radio, and in print ads? What if I am running Facebook and Bing Ads? I could generate a ton of traffic that has nothing to do with Google search. Unless I install Google Analytics on my site, Google has no clue how much traffic I'm getting.

This is the kind of stuff that these videos are riddled with.

A lot of studies have been done that say people look up and to their left when they are lying. He does that throughout these videos, so does he know he is lying to everyone?

Like I said, not all the technique's I agree with but he does have some good advice.
