Is my website sandboxed ?

google sent me an email on june 8 saying that they detected many unnatural links to my website. Just 2 weeks after I read this notice, I saw a drastic decline in my rankings. So, I took action immediately to remove all of the unnatural links to my site. I deleted thousand of them in a week. Then, I submitted my site for reconsideration. On july 12, I received an email saying that manual spam action revoked.

After the manual spam action revoked, I built tens of natural backlinks over the last 2 weeks. However, I haven't seen any of them in webmaster tools. Google haven't updated "links to my site" page since july 17. Isn't it weird?
I believe that my site is in sandbox because google doesn't count my new backlinks, therefore, there is no improvement in my ranking for 2 weeks. do you think if a site can be sandboxed because of the effects of unnatural links penalty although it's 3 years old and all of its pages are indexed on google ?

If it is possible remove as many spam links you can.. You are not suppose to build tons of links in a short period of time irrespective of it's age.. Build some quality links to your site for few months and then resubmit your site to Google Webmaster Tools.. Hope this helps..

I agree with Green - you're still going to be seen as spammy if you are "building" links. Links don't get "built". Links happen as a result of good content being shared or linked to from other sites.

Stop trying to "build" links and start to create great content that is link worthy.

I just wrote an article that was syndicated on SocialMediaToday.com that received over 500 natural shares in 48 hours. There is good traffic on that site and if you put up quality it gets rewarded. Does it provide a good back link to your site - maybe/maybe not its the quality of the content that I'm emphasizing.
