After months of waiting on who's doing seo, then drive, then drive your google pagerank update came.


On 08.02.2012 the pagerank of the official site has been updated. With spam filtering effect after the two algorithms is the panda, penguin, the quality of the site is updated pretty well.

Virtually everyone has a site's pagerank increase, depending on the site could be increased more or less increase. The position virtually keywords in seo keywords people still stood. But this is still a good signal for webmaster world.

Your Site has been updated yet. if you are the administrator or the administrator please check light. hopefully you will see good change.

    Haven't done any checking myself. But, as many know, PR is updated CONSTANTLY. It's just a matter of when Google decides to show us any changes.

    same pagerank in my most of sites. not got much more rank some site got 0 to 2.

      yeah - my sites went upto PR 5 - however - it was a strict PR update - many sites went down

    All of my sites have now got a PR. This update is quiet lucky for me.
    5 of my sites are PR2 and rest 6 are PR1. I am quiet happy with that.

      I think its a translation from vietnam language. Many forums linked a vietnamese website that published the firsts news about it. Thats my guess.

      Not sure if this was directed to me, but...

      It seems like traffic has dramatically increased, though I'm not sure if this is due to PR increase (I'm now ranked 3rd behind two authority sites for my Tumblr blog title name/keywords), not popular search terms though.

      where I used to be on the second page ranked like 12th behind many people,

      Traffic seems to be relative to how many reblogs/followers our posts get, though it may have something to do with google/PR I don't even think I get much/any traffic from searches yet. However, google somehow indexes our blog photos that we post and so maybe this contributes to better PR? The page is pretty polished too and only has original content created by ourselves.

      We've gotten like 150? internal links to our main page and 4? external links?

      I'm really, really new to SEO. Still trying to figure out what to do with this Blog, and I'm not sure what to research at this point. And, still trying to figure out what this means for my blog as a whole to be ranked PR4. I've not done any link building or SEO optimizing of the page, if that even matters for Tumblr..

      Any thoughts much appreciated.

    hi all, What does PR actually do?. My 3 month old site with very few baclinks has gone from PR0 to PR3 which ofcourse I am happy with but what does it do?. Quite a few of my inner pages are now also PR2/ PR1 which once again can only be a good sign right, but I haven't seen any recent traffic spikes all seems steady and normal.
    Edit: Just now I saw a few vistors coming to my site from a post I adding just 3 hours ago did a few checks and currently ranking atleast 5 different long tail keywords with in the top 5 places on google.com, this is the first post I have done since the update and the Pr increase most have a part to play. I am speechless at the minute and just want to keep adding posts, must not get ahead of myself lol.

    No change in keyword rank but the site finished its dance and settled to a PR2

    Internal pages have also went up.

    Traffic is the same, if not better
