Don't know how to start?

I am working for a client on 12 keywords. But don't know how to start. What i do is take 2 keywords keep working on them and stop working on them when they are in Top 10 then take another 2 keywords and keep working on them till they are in Top 10.
But the problem i am facing is when i stop working on keywords which reached Top 10 ranking they lost there ranking in few days.
How can get Top 10 ranking for all the keywords without loosing ranking very frequently?
How should i plan my strategy to work on all the 12 keywords which some result on them?

    First of all perform onpage optimization and content optimization for your targeted keywords and then start link-building for them. You have to arrange your task in this manner, as you can do daily submission for your all keywords. This arrangement provide stability to your every keywords and also you will not face suddenly a great fall in SERP results.

  • What you have to do is once you get the keywords top 10 keep them with the help of blog posting(monthly 4-5), article(monthly 1) like that. just do bit. Then you can concentrate fully in your targeting keywords. Because once you get Top you want to keep up that. Otherwise your competitor move up your position.
