Using PR Checker? (quick question)

Do I enter the whole url? (www.nameofwebsite.com/whatever) or just the main domain (www.nameofwebsite.com) ?

  • PR = Page Rank, ie: only pages have Page Rank, not domains.

    So, enter the actual page you are wanting to check (which in most cases is the homepage)

    • That's true. High-PR backlinks can be very valuable, however, it's the PR of the actual page that the link is placed on that is really important in how strong that link is.

      The PR of the home page also plays a role, but really a minor one compared to the PR of the actual page.

      Many backlink providers tend to hype up their ad by claiming they are providing high-PR backlinks, but in many cases, if you ask them about the PR, they will tell you it's the PR of the home page, therefore the links that they create are in fact placed on pages with PR 0 or N/A.

      Also, take into consideration that PR is a logarithmic scale - PR 2.4 is much more powerful than PR 2.05.

  • PR stands for page rank, and every page has its pr like the homepage of domain will have a different pr and its all other pages will also have a different PR.

  • each page has a pr. what tool are you using to determine this? some are terribly awful
