Backlinks not getting noticed

I've been slowly building links to my site over the last couple of months but every backlink checker I've used including webmasters is showing no data.

How long does it usually take for a sites backlinks to get noticed?

  • it depends on the type of backlinks you have created like the blog comments with no pr takes even months to get indexed and the social network links are indexed soon, yo can create some backlinks to your backlinks to get them indexed soon and this will pass more link juice and authority to your website.

    • Have a look at ahrefs backlink checker, they should show up on here, or at least some of them. You can backlink your backlinks with a social bookmark as these get indexed fast. But you should have some registering after a couple of months.
  • Try to use a pinging service, a free one like pingoat is good, or linklicious is a premium one that drip feeds your links to the search engines and is a good one to use.

    Basically if you take time to get your links indexed through pinging them they will get noticed more.
  • I found the same thing however I think these sites are not accurate. Or the take a really long time to index the links. Don't worry and keep on keeping on. If your rank is climbing then there being found.
  • Do you use SEO Quake. It shows you your links on all your pages.

  • Make sure you keep a record of all of the backlinks you create and then check which ones are indexed and which aren't.

    You will probably find you have a high percentage of them not indexed, just build links to the ones that aren't indexed and your good to go =D

      OP try to use linklicious / lindexed / ping farm etc to get them crawled and indexed faster , but if you are building spammy links like scrapebox blasts most of them don't get indexed, but basically as Matt said if you are building stronger backlinks like web 2.0 do some tiered backlinking and build backlinks on your backlinks.   • At least 2-3 weeks but maybe longer. I did small amounts of backlink building in the first 2 months and a large amount in the latest month. So i am not to sure whether google on lists you when your backlinks get to a certain point are after period of time, but can take a good month or two.
  • It could take weeks to a couple of months. It depends on search engines.
