If you make it available to google, it will be crawled.
That is, make sure you have the setting to be listed
in on blogger. I believe this is the default anyway.
You may get a faster initial crawl if you post the link
on a page that gets crawled. That's why one needs
to create their own empire of sites.

Then, just keep making posts. Blogspot comes
SEO'd perfectly out of the box, designed by google
exactly the way a website should be structured.
That's one huge perk of using blogspot. No
plugins or other such rot to content with.

Why this is such a secret, has always been beyond
me.

My best blogger blogs earn almost as much as my best
stand-alone websites, adsense-wise. I mean I get clicks
and a HUGE amount of funneled traffic. Blogspot is one
free, amazing program. Google has taken this thing to
the max.

It is not a bigger issue. Try to make something in google links and social bookmarking. Keep posting daily.
