Testing out Adsense once again..Using CTR theme again?

Hi, so I've been expanding my business. Working two Amazon sites and PPC. And now I want to monetize adsense once again for a new site. (I took a break for 5 months now with adsense).

Are any of you guys using CTR theme? I've had it for quite some time and I'm thinking about using it again. BUT, I'm probably just going to have two blocks, one at the top right wrapped in the content and one in the bottom.

No link text ads, nothing by the menu bar and no banner.

    I have heard that this theme is overused and thus not as unique to teh googz.

    I LOVE the CTR theme and stick by it always.

    I don't actually put adsense on it but I do use it for Amazon and the CTR is honestly just great. I put two ad blocks at the top and 2-3 affiliate links through an article with a video at the bottom

    The best formula I've ever had for an Amazon website.

      WOAH! You use CTR theme for Amazon? Now that's DOPE! I got to try that out.

      I'm using gazpo theme at the moment for Amazon.

      You said you put two ad blocks at the top. Is that two amazon ads?

        Mhm the newer version give you those two image spots to push down the fold so I just get two high converting Amazon ads for the products which you'll find in your affiliate account and put the affiliate link in!

          How are you backlinking? Web 2.0's? Mixture of everythign?

          But yeah - I'm probably going to use this for Adsense today.

            Yeah a little bit of everything

            On my Amazon website I do go out of the way for Social Signals as well.

            I usually only promote Tech products and I feel like it just wouldn't make sense for Tech reviews not to have a bunch of social signals as well.

    Have you tried adsense pro ultimate? I've been using for 3 days now and am very happy with the results...if u r not short of budget, u can giv it a try
