adfly question (bots)

Hi Guys,

Absolutely lapping up all the information on this forum at the moment.

What can you tell me about paid traffic from adfly, a quick google search for adfly bots pulls up hundreds of results for people claiming to have the best bots for sale.

Is this commonplace? I opted in to a IM programme a while back and one of the systems involved generating traffic using adfly, is this feasible given the bots?

Thanks in advance

  • I tried adfly way back and I didn't get one opt in to a lead capture page that converted normally at 30%. I sent thousands to the page. I don't think its real people that you are paying for. I honestly don't know what value at all adfly provides. Maybe its good for juicing your stats to create a traffic course, lol.

    • The system I saw involved sending hundreds of thousands of 'viewers' to the page in only a couple of days, it was pretty cheap too at $80 per 100k if i remember, it seemed too good to be true, the guy said he used the same method to generate lists of 2-3k people per 100k on adfly.

This is something I was really excited about until I found out about bots.
  • Adfly is a complete waste of time and money...

    • Could I ask you to elaborate on this please.
  • I've had some relatively ok success with their traffic, but you have to make sure you know your traffic really well.

  • Yes, it is bot traffic You learned quick.
  • in my opinion adfly is a waste of money and addition to bounce rate of your website.
