Hi,

I just created a Facebook page. Do you know if it will index it automatically on google including my posts, discussions, etc., or do I have to do anything?

Thanks.

Best regards,
Thomas

  • A FB page is usually around Page Rank 2-6. It is always updated and indexed quickly, just choose the proper keywords in your page description, title, etc.
  • It certainly won't hurt to build some links to it, you can rank FB pages just like any other property.

    • Get links from multiple sources and write a compelling description that includes your main keywords. Create some tabs and name them appropriately. Use your target words and phrases in your wall posts. Keep your Facebook page updated and share new posts that are relevant to your business.
  • Social bookmark it, use twitter, web 2.0 etc and backlink to it.
  • google index all coments from facebook

    • Is that true?
Google consider all types of comment in FB?
  • One quick trick that appears to be working extremely well for people is to +1 the page. People are reporting that within a few hours a page will be indexed.
  • Great, thanks alot guys.

  • You don't have to index FB page.It has a PR of 5 at this time so Google automatically indexes whatever you submit on your FB page.
  • proper title, keyword, desc. It should be update daily.
  • Sharing it or do backlinks for it.
  • share you fan page to your friends

Facebook pages are indexed extremely quickly!
  • Thanks, guys. It's been almost a day since creating it, so I've just gotten some social bookmarks to speed things up. Will see if it's indexed on Monday.

    Enjoy the weekend.

There is no need to index your FaceBook page, because Google automaticaly index everything on FaceBook. Just choose your keywords well.
  • you can do social bookmarking to your facebook fan page, put your fan page URL only in Digg, reddit, delicious, stumbleupon, & etc, you can also put in twitter, wordpress, blogspot, & make again 2nd tier linking
  • Update your Facebook page on a regular basis and you can do bookmarking of your Facebook page in order to do fast indexing. Connect your Facebook page to your website.
  • Thanks, guys. Did some social bookmarks this weekend, and today I can see that it's indexed.

    Thanks for all your help.

    Best regards,
    Thomas
