Do you agree that .co will rank faster easier and better with the same optimization than .com, .net, and .org?
#faster #rank

Yeah they rank without a problem, personally I have never had an issue ranking a domain regardless of the extension. I used to be one of those .com,.net, .org or .co.uk only guys

.com .net .org are by far easiest to rank! Only reason to use .co would be to get an EMD, and even then you're going to have a hard time ranking if some of those other EMDS are already in top 10.

      Cheers.

No - clearly not. Nobody much is going to agree with that, because it's pure fiction.

Google has said clearly, unambiguously and repeatedly that there's no difference at all in the ranking/SEO abilities or speeds of any of the international TLD's and three formerly national ones now treated as TLD's, and this is one of those three. (The other two are .tv, formerly geospecific to Tuvalu, and .me, formerly for Montenegro).

It's simply factual. They've clarified this in writing, on video, in blogs, on their other websites, and so on. Over and over again. Although it's fairly clear anyway, it's also one of the comparatively few things about which they've always been totally consistent.

It's true that you don't see nearly as many ".co domains" ranking at the top of the SERP's as domains on various other extensions. There are quite a lot of different reasons for that (some of them very obvious and others much less so), but "having different ranking abilities" isn't one of them.

Personally, I don't use .co domains for a number of other reasons unrelated to SEO.

I'm with Ms Smith on this one. However, you do need to keep in mind that .co is actually a Columbian domain extension whereas .com, .net and .org are universal. Always best to get one of those before a .co or .tv or whatever.

Many will argue that TLD doesn't matter in terms of SEO. So this is always up for debate.

However it has been my experience that .com, .net, and .orgs are easier to rank than other TLDs. Again this is drawing from a fairly large sample size of sites/client work, but in the grand scheme of things still a statistically insignificant sample size to draw conclusions from. So again it's just a matter of personal opinion based on experiences.

I definitely would say though that .co sites are NOT easier to rank than others.

Banging your head against the wall again, Alexa?

Just look at the replies....why do people ignore the
      answer?

Newsflash: Anyone who says anything counter to
reality, run from them. Especially if they claim
      to do "SEO."

The TLD argument I guess will never die. There are
too many charlatan domain sellers, and those that
      do voodoo SEO.

Funny thing. A couple of years ago, .co was supposed
to be the new .com, grey is the new blonde, and 50
      is the new 30...

I can categorically state that Google does not consider the TLD when ranking a website. I have seen and know exactly what Google does consider.

I would prefer to use a .com - However using a .co will not make any difference at all to rankings.
