I have a few websites that I would like to outsource some seo on. I was wondering if anyone has a checklist of what I should have them do, and then how to follow up to make sure they actually did it? Thanks

    it varies from site to site id say...make sure you have a plan of what you need. Then have them execute it. Last but not least get your link reports

      I get a weekly report, only pay month to month, and all work is manually done. No automated spammy link building.

        Yohance - I couldn't help but notice your sites in your signature. Do you listen to the I Love Marketing podcast? You should certainly do yourself a favor and check them out. LOTS of carpet cleaning content in there.

      I agree. It depends on your niche, keyword, and whether you have your on-site SEO in place. I recommend you have your websites analyzed first.

    You take a good idea. your should have submitted your website link other website. Example: social bookmark submission, forum posting, directory submission etc.

    The checklist could go on and on if you want SEO tasks. Just a suggestion on checking up on them though. An good outsourced employee would normally check-in through email and give you an update about things but to make sure that they're doing their job well, use google groups or basecamp so you can see all the updates there.
