Efficient Backlinking

Hello,

I am fairly new to this whole internet business world and decided to go for adsense. It really interested me from the beginning and today I have 3 sites up and running and I have earned my first $ which is super exciting and makes me to only strive for more.

For the two previous sites I have up I actually paid someone to do the backlinking for me and it did not take long before I realized the price that I pay is way to high in comparison to what I make. Hence the 3rd site I made I actually did backlinking from high PR web2.0/blogs my self. To sum it up the whole process took me about 10 hours for 15 backlinks. This includes register for a site, confirm registration, create site, upload images, upload videos, creating anchor text etc etc. I have bought a gig on fiver that social bookmark those sites as well.

However I think the whole process I way to time consuming. My questions if there a way to get Quality backlinks in a cost effective way? I have heard a lot about softwares like SE Nuke and such and others get an VA that do backlinks. For me that seems fine but only when you have a minimum of 30 sites or so (so that you use the full potential and hopefully make more from your sites that out pay for softwares/staff).

Please share you story on how you get create high quality backlinks while keeping costs low for your website.

Thanks heaps

Actually now a days using software in seo process is bit risky. But you can still hire some seo experts to do seo for your site if you don't have the time to monitor the site yourself.

I do have time to monitor my sites but I dont have the money to hire a "seo expert". Like you said I have also heard a lot about how softwares are a no no.. But doesnt that depend on how you use them at the end? I mean sure if you blast thousands of backlinks and make it totally unnatural that will get you slapped but in the other hand I am pretty sure you can use them whitehat in a professional manner. Any one tried using SE Nuke and/or other similar softwares in a GOOD way and not just spamming out?

Is there a way for google to see if your backlinks where uploaded through a software or done manually?

Does anyone have any experience with LOKI and can tell me some more about it? Thanks!

Tools are risky but you have the same risk with manual things. What's risky is the strategy of what you are doing. It's fine to use tools provided that you do it naturally - no spam, no irrelevant posts, no unnatural things that should go on.

I'd say the most efficient strategy now is tiered-pyramid linking.

    • Hiring a VA is a good idea, but you should ask her to build links manually. You can also handle link building by yourself. Another option is to write guest posts and content for your site by yourself and hire a VA for handling your social media accounts, submitting content to article directories, leaving comments on forums and other similar tasks.

Hey MaxMillan - I would say just work at it your self for awhile longer until you get your processes down and then look at hiring a VA to do some of the easiest tasks - of course outsourcing content creation and research etc... will save you a lot of time as well.

Building your team "in-house" is much more efficient and cost effective than just paying a lump sum to an "SEO-Expert" who may not have any idea what is going on in the first place.

Keep in mind too that some backlinks are far more labour intensive than others - relevant comments on quality blogs can be done in 5-10 minutes, whereas writing and submitting a web 2.0 can take upwards of half an hour to an hour depending on what you do.

Make sure you analyze your competition as well using a service like ahrefs.com or some of the others to find their backlinks - this will save a lot of time as well!

There are many SEO packages these days. You can find them everywhere (Even I have one - Check Out My Signature), and some of them are really cheap. If you want to do backlinks on your own, I would suggest you to buy some softwares because manual work is slow and stressful.

What I've lately been doing is, I have been creating backlinks placed on my own high-PR domains that I've bought on an online auction.

This way I'm creating a private blog network and the results have been awesome so far.

PR is very important when evaluating the strength of backlinks.

Not necessarly the PR...... for example there are domains with 1 backlink from a PR 6-7 page, from which the domain gets a PR of 3-4.

But there are domains with tens of PR1,2,3,4 backlinks, from which the domain gets a PR of 2-3 which makes this domain much valuable and powerfull then the first one.

Using SENuke X or such automated software have mostly lost their effectiveness after Panda and Penguin. Though if you want to use them, you've to use them tactfully and with time to avoid triggering spam filter.
So, for now, the Best way is High PR Blog Commenting. Along with High Quality Unique content, only blog commenting can provide you Quality baclink within short time for a High Rank.

Better don't go for SEO experts for those. Getting quality back links is not an easy task and you need to invest time when you are in preliminary stage. Did you try with article and directory submission, social book marking? If not, you can try. Press release also works to get good quality back links.

Hey thanks for you post you really touch on my biggest concern that is time. As you point out submitting to a web2.0 takes enormous time and I really start thinking if its worth it? Since you are talking about it I might ask you a question. Web2.0 and Blogs are the same thing? Isnt squidoo & WP a web2.0?

And also if you have a list of high PR blogs that I can use to comment on please feel free to share.

I am actually going to start with article submission very soon. Im in the process of that. A question for you. Can I submit the exact same Article that I have on my page? Or does that look very bad for the engines?

Yes, I always Anchor link in the comment body, not in the name field. Most of the time the name field is Nofollow and link surrounded by texts are regarded as Contextual Backlink which renders higher value.
Regarding such High PR blogs list that allow Dofollow link within comment body, are pretty tough to find. It needs hours of time as well as labor. And sharing them Free just wont devalued my effort but also tend them to be Spammed and lose their Value.
