There is an interesting piece on sem group net (I don't have enough posts here to include links) on how article sites were affected by Panda. Articlesbase isn't doing as well as it once did.

Also, is anyone using Squidoo?

I saw Triong was listed, does anyone use this? Every article I've submitted there has been denied and I just end up posting it in another site instead of trying to edit it.

And.. not in the top 20 but WhatisHowto.Net accepts articles that you can submit directly through wordpress.

Yep I did try Triond ... I dont think it is a article directory, after submission it submits our article to other site, 1 of my article got accepted and published, when I clicked the link it was published here : writinghood.com

You can search different article directories/sites on google search .It is very very easy and and amazing method of getting very effective and latest article sites like goarticles.com ,ezinearticles.com, amazingarticles.com etc...

I use only 3 article directories, not for back link purposes, but for article sindication only. The below are very effective, and free. When you subtmit to GoArticle you see your article the same day. The other 2 directories takes about 7 days to approve, when you are first starting out.

I have used only few article directory sites.

You can look for EzineArticles, GoArticles, BaseArticles & ArticlesXpert.

All these sites are free. But make sure to post quality articles if you want your articles to be pubilshed.

My site about pay day loans does not attract natural links. The same deal with most of my long form product description sites and product comparison sites. It's pretty hard to get guest posts as well.

Most of the authorized article submissions sites are for sale and some are closed for registration or submission of story. There are few of them that are still active and I would suggest to filter those posted lists then submit your unique content. Avoid low quality submission sites that allows duplicated content.
