Hi,

What sites would you recommend submitting your blogs rss feed to that will help your site in terms of SEO and not be super spammy. Preferably easy submits too, not ones that you have to jump through a ton of hoops to submit

Thanks!

Yah because you don't want to have to do any work or anything.

No one does that anymore. Don't both. There are none.

    Its not about doing work...

It's about signing up for multiple accounts on shady submission websites only to find out that they hold no actual weight with search engines and that you've just made your SEO footprint easier to see.

I tried to do this same thing with Press Release websites.. So I DID THE LEGWORK and went down the list of press release websites

    Perfect example - bignews.biz

I wasted 10 minutes signing up for an account, I then wasted another hour writing a kickass press release only to find out that bignews.biz is a shit press release website that takes two weeks to get your PR approved to be released and it doesn't even have enough weight to hold up on big SE's.

    So after the:

    wasted time
waste of an article (can't republish due to duplicate content)
and overall waste of a PR

I now ask to see if anyone knows or has had experience with various diretory websites

    Hope that helps!

I use RSSBot to submit my RSS feeds, it's automated.

The thing with PR and web directory sites is the ones that are good for SEO are usually paid (or have a paid option) and if you submit for free it's not as valuable in SEO.

So if you are willing to spend some money on paid submission, that can help you rankings.
