Tier 2 Velocity to Private Blog Network - Thoughts?

I run an ecommerce website (5K+ products) and have 100 blogs setup via SEO hosting (all unique class A ip addresses) and am beginning to drive links to the blogs themselves.
I am using magic submitter and am currently @ 30-50 links per month, per blog. This will be a lot of juice, in total, but I'd like to move the 30-50 up to around 200 or so, per month for tier 2. All anchors to the high PR blogs are generic/static anchors or .com/naked url.
I'd love to hear thoughts on this. The blogs have helped us across the board, but I want to flow as much juice as possible, without running the risk of a penalty. It seems okay to me, especially if I vary the links to the blogs between the homepage and various posts.
