Moving a site to a new URL

OK so I used to run a site called Interestingly : Questions, Answers and Discussions but now have relaunched it on a new url Interestingly : Questions, Answers and Discussions.

The query I have is Interestingly : Questions, Answers and Discussions and Interestingly : Questions, Answers and Discussions now link to my new live site so google is getting confused indexing my content.

Do I need to leave the old site live for a few months?

    Get rid of the old site and do a 301 redirect from the old domain to the new domain
  • Actually this can be really confusing to choose the right content of your site as the both url has actual same tag. You should leave the old url.
