I hope I'm posting in the right section, if not I'm sorry.

I'm in a situation here, I was away for 2 months vacation and my auto-debit stopped paying for my hosting and my site was down for that duration. What happens to all the SEO and ranking when I revive it? If I lost everything, is there any way I can bring my ranking up again without starting from square one?

I need some advise here.

So you lost the domain-name and content as well?

If your hosting was just down and the site was deindexed then re-create the site as is and as long as the backlinks still existing you should start getting those rankings back.

You also have to take into account the recent changes to Google and how many older abused methods may have gotten your site into trouble. If that's the case then you're stuffed.

My domain is still alive since I have them paid yearly. Yeah, I notice before I left, some of my sites dropped horribly. Some are still standing good but I had to rush off and decided to come back and deal with it later.

Also, I noticed how some of my sites were indexed as sub-domain instead of a domain.
