Because you need to write relevant articles and target it for traffic.

Be sure to use relative keywords in your blogs and articles which contain specific words you think people might use when searching for your article, but be carefull not to over do it.
Another tip is when you want someone to link to an external website, always write the domain with the http:// prefix at the begining, it is more preferred that www.

all the comments above are great ones! one thing i would add is video - lots and lots of video - we have an in-house distribution of over 100 video hosting sites. so 10 videos uploaded and that is 1,000 + (some get picked up by sites we don't upload to) mini commercials for people to find you. back each video with seo and you have a winner... good luck and stick with it - never give up... Everything is hard until it's easy! But make it easier faster with education.
