Private Blog Network Link Building help needed

Okay. So I have my spun articles ready to be posted on some private blog networks.But I had some confusion regarding the link placement in the articles.Please help me regarding this.

I heard that about 2-3 links are allowed in an article.The strategy that I want to employ is:

First link- Points to the article with the MAIN keyword.

Second link- Points to my homepage

Third link- Points to some other article on my website.

But I read on some forum that putting just 1 link in the article is enough as the article will be posted to a large number of blogs.And if I put in more than 1 link, it might look suspicious.

And if we still want to put more links then,the links should point to some external sites.

This is confusing.I would be really glad if you can guide me on the number of links that I should place per article and where should the URL's point to.

What I would actually do is have 1 of the links randomly link to a relevant website in your niche thats nothing to do with your site(s)

Just do an intitle:"your keyword" search in scrapebox and then use those URL's for your 3rd link.

This will help disguise the fact your promoting yourself and add a bit more weight, substance and uniqueness to the articles.

Also should I spin the anchor text for links pointing to my homepage or other pages??

Is there any number of anchor text variations that I must have??
