PR6 Auction Domain Problem

I won a very nice PR6 domain on GD a month ago.

The domain had 1,700 domains and 11,000 links pointing to it.

It had been 301'd to another domain for the past several years.

When I got control of it 16 days ago, I 301'd all the old links to 10 new pages I'd put on the site, and I'm still adding new pages to it every other day.

After 16 days, Google still only indexes the home page and nothing else.

Google spiders only about 20 links per day, but keeps the home page content cache up to date as I make changes to it. But still has NONE of the 10 new pages indexed.

I pointed a few NEW links at the 10 new interior pages, but they're still not being indexed.

Question...

Does a domain that was previously 301'd to another domain for a long time (years) usually take this long to get re-indexed by Google?

Someone may know more but based on what I have read and experienced, Google's spider learns the habit of how often content is updated on a website and crawls it based on the habit. It could take some time for the spider to re-learn the new habits of the website.

I would make sure to do some serious bookmarking and other social sites for any new pages I put on it to help establish a new pattern for the website.

Do you have permanent internal links on the Index page pointing at the 10 internal pages, or are the links rolling off the Index page faster than G is crawling the Index page?

Look at the Index Google Cache (text version) to see If the internal links show up on the Index page.

Yes, these 10 new pages are linked from the main menu, and they show up in Google's text-only cache version of the home page. But, they DON'T show as being indexed individually when I do a "site:internal-page-url-here" search.

Don't take this the wrong way, did you check the 10 internal pages HTML source code to make sure there isn't a NOINDEX tag on those pages?

The only reason I ask is, I have found the NOINDEX tag on multiple sites pages for people in this forum that couldn't get a page indexed (seriously).

Also, did you search for the 10 internal pages individualy?

    Example:
    site:internal-page-url-here

Yes, that was one of the first things I thought of, but unfortunately, no, they don't have the NOINDEX meta.

I also checked the WP Privacy setting, but it is set correctly.

I'm wondering if, since the domain has such a large number of inbounds, and since it was 301'd for so many years, if Google is waiting until it has spidered ALL of the domain's inbound links before it gives it "trust" and starts indexing its new pages.

That's the only thing I can come up with...
