Need help selecting a micro niche!

Hello friends,

I am planning to start a micro niche blog. But I am confused about the niche. Can you all suggest me any less competitive good micro niche to start with.

    Below is the method which I am using for adsense sites.

    1. Choose local market (
    2. Look around what is famous, for e.g restaurants in your city, recent movie releases in your city, college institutions in your city or state etc. Choose any one keyword and enter in google and check whether ads are available for that keyword or not.
    3. If yes then check the keyword competition in google keyword tool.
    4. Check the domain availability. Choose .com or .co.in only.
    5. Build a auto blog.

    That's it!!

  • If you want to get some good keyword ideas, try using SECockpit. It is by FAR the best keyword research tool I've ever used!

    Also, if you do want to try SECockpit, make sure you search Google for "SECockpit discount", because it can save you quite a bit of money.
  • You should choose a niche by yourself and find low phrase keywords by the google keyword tool.
  • Choosing a niche is the fun part but can be very difficult sometimes. I would suggest doing the research into niches that get less attention that your normal ones that everyone seems to go for (fitness, money making, etc.).

    My favorite way to choose a niche is to think of a problem you are facing or have faced in the past. It is likely that others are facing the same problem and could benefit from your site. Just do your research using the Google keyword tool to make sure there is enough interest.
