Hello WarriorForum,

I'm new here as you can see and I've done a bunch of reading on google and on this site about SEO.. I'm a college student and I'd like to obtain some passive income that would make me comfortable with even trying to use this revenue system. I cannot fully grasp the idea behind it or how I can get started which comes with me being new.. so is there any help you guys can give me?

I read that it'll take a lot of time and I'll need to sit by my computer all day? I won't have much continual time in my day to tend to SEO/etc. But I can give an hr or 2 a day.

Help is greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to the forums.

Not trying to deter you from a business where money is definitely attainable, but don't buy into the hype of people promising lots of money without lifting a finger. You need to learn SEO and figure out what is good and bad for yourself.

Also remember that one of the most profitable niches available is the "make money online" niche. Take from that what you want.

No, I absolutely understand time and management will need to occur in order to make money. I just want a dumbed down version on what I need to do/get started haha some of this stuff seems beyond my reach. (1600 SATs lol!)

Can you elaborate on the last sentence?

Not sure what 1600 SATS are (I'm British ) For starters, theres a heluva lot of good information in the sticky posts up there. I'd go through all that before you even start looking at domains hosting etc.

That last sentence was just a warning that there will be a lot of marketers out here looking to sell you stuff you don't need, or sell you products that don't work. Try not to fall for it.

Yeah, but if you put the effort in and it actually interests you, it's not too bad. Good luck

    First.. Welcome

I had been running a website for years but only within the last 7 months have entered the IM field, let me tell you it takes a ton of work. Even after 7 months I have a belief that if I don't learn something new everyday it generally means I didn't do anything with regard to IM. There is always something to read, an account to create, content to write, etc etc etc.

Best advice I can give you is build 1 website on a topic you already know something about and do everything manually, not only will this cut costs but will also show you how to do things. This will be critical for when you start to want to learn to outsource. I have found you can make money off the weirdest topics so don't think for a second nothing is beyond the scope of making some cash on.
