Market Samurai Alternative???

Hi guys,

Looking to find something to replace market samurai -- there new "cloud" keyword system is a joke. Charing you $100 for software - then only letting you track 50 keywords for free!! Great way to ruin some great software.

The main thing I use is the SEO Competition - that shows you the the top 10 results in google - with details.

What software best replaces this? Or the market samurai software in total?

  • Traffic Travis does basically the same thing for free, but I find that SEO Competition module to be utterly useless for evaluating competition.

      Keyword Scout - good, but you need captcha solver
      Traffic Travis - good
      Micro Niche Finder - not bad for ideas
      Stealth Keyword Competition Analyzer - pretty good
      Itches For Niches - sold on here too
  • Like you I abandoned Market Samurai for similar reason. When they first messed up the rank tracking module I quickly searched for alternatives.

    I wasn't able to find a single program to replace market samurai completly. The SEO competition module is still the best one I've seen/used by a long way in my opinion.

    So what I settled for was RankTracker from the SEO Powersuite package and kept Market Samurai on for the SEO competition as it has no monthly fee's attached.
  • They (NobleSamurai) do have good reasoning behind it though. Their hands were tied really, so they had to start charging.
  • NobleSamurai, the word "Samarai" is added to both, Market and Noble, I don't know which one is original..

  • I am using keyword sniper pro. I searches long trail keywords very fine.
  • I'm using Keyword Canine. Really a great software but it has sold out after few days. Maybe u can get into the notification list.

    As for ranking tracking, i'm using "advance web ranking".
