Just seen an article about cell phones for soldiers. Took a look and they are ranking page 1 for some good keywords.

Do any of the SEO pros do any ranking for non profits? Seems like an admirable thing to do.

I wouldn't have a problem helping a non-profit as long as they could verify they are a legit non-profit & I have the free time.

    Example: Exempt Organizations Select Check

You got any non profits that you dig? Free time is another story but I guess that's part of donating.

Picking the right one and ranking them would not only help them but the people they serve...end up helping a lot of folks in the process

I've spent the last 59 months building 412 MFA sites. Each site averages 8 cents per day...I said average, some make up to 17 cents per day, PASSIVE INCOME! This income allows me to live comfortably and buy ANY flavor Jolly Rancher or Skittles I desire. Don't give in to fear, it CAN be done!

Yes, getting backlinks from charity sites, non profit sites, religious sites is really good for seo.

no that's not what I meant.

I meant giving them something, not taking it. Using your skills to help them rank for something that will help them.

I think Google gives higher ranking to these kind of sites as Google is working for the society first.

I have done free work for local charities and fundraisers.

Only thing I won't touch is churches because they are anything but non-profit, and I find organized religion comical.
