There are several blog commenting softwares on the web. Has anyone used such softwares before? I watched a video about how it works and it seems very attractive and it is very fast for backlinking. What might be drawbacks of using such softwares?

    One drawback?

How about your site getting massively penalized?

Manual blog commenting on high quality blogs / posts? Still works just great.

Blindly blasting thousands of junk blogs with links to your money site? Recipe for disaster.

If it was 2009 again, sure, automated blog commenting would be one of the easiest ways to boost your site. But it's not. These days you've got to be a LOT smarter and not point these types of links at your main site. Instead, use that software (Scrapebox) to find high quality blogs and manually comment on them.

A handful of dofollow, PR1+, etc, backlinks is a lot more beneficial than thousands of junk links from spammed-to-death sites.

      • You could try to use blog commenting software, but you might end up being penalized by Google. It is better to do some research, find blogs related to your niche, and leave comments manually. This will increase the changes of getting your comment approved and give you the opportunity to share your expertise and gain popularity online. It will also increase exposure for your site and help you get more traffic and backlinks.

Scrapebox is good soft, but is very old. You can use also full automatic tool named "No hands seo" - in this software you can configure:
      - to post only one comment for domain
      - to post or not comments on home page
      - to not post comments in black list with some domains
      - to post comment only when outgoing links are number smaller than x
      - to post comment only when pagerank of url is bigger than...
      - to post comment only when pagerank of root domain is bigger than...
      - to post comments that point to one random link from your list (you can create lists for every single project)
      - to post not more than X comments daily for project

And this software is integrated with all good spinners, so you can post some list with texts with some number of comments and will be posted hundreds of unique comments automatically.

I use both Scrapebox and No hands seo and they complement each other.

    Your web browser ^^

Seriously though I use scrapebox and there are a few different approaches you can take with blog commenting in Scrapebox.

If you are going to use it directly on your moneysites then you should do something like this-

    1. scrape for intitle:"product name review"
    2. research, write and hand spin comments related to the product
    3. submit the comments in bulk

Doing it this way ensures a higher approval rate to a much more relevant target base of sites. You could blast 500-1000 of these a week quite safely as not all of them will be approved and there will be a huge delay inbetween the time of submission, the point of approval/rejection and the point of Google finding and indexing them.

The other way to go about is mass link spam with an auto approve list of blogs. This I wouldn't recommend doing to your money site but it is great to use on your tier 2 and 3 links to help with indexing, juicing them up and more imporatantly sending the search spiders on their merry way to your site through your tiers.

It will not be considered spammy when you submit 1000 blog commenting at once, by using scrapebox?

This largely depends on your approach.

If you have scraped a target list of blog posts about a specific product and then have hand written and hand spun a series of detailed and related comments to the product and then submitting them all, how is that any different than opening each one up in a web browser and submitting it manually?

Don't forget your only submitting 1,000 comments, out of those 1,000 it is likely most of them won't get published (depending how good the comments your submitting are) and then after they have been published its going to take Google a few weeks to find them all.

Avoid using blog commenting software for mass commenting. It will bring no help for your site rather it can penalize you site from Google. You can use software like scrapebox to search niche related blogs. Not to do mass commenting.

Yes I am totally agreed with Samual, using an automated software for any
seo activity is attract a Panda or Penguin to hit you hard, which is not recoverable. As Mrs Virtual Assistant said, do some search, find some manual way for a particular work, which has long term effect. Automated links still work fine for tiers. Just don't point them at your main site. They can also help rank "trusted" sites pretty well. If you know what you're doing. I've used Scrapebox to rank PLENTY of YouTube videos pretty high. YouTube & similar sites can handle to sudden surge of backlinks. But, again, I'd never point them at my main sites.

      For the most part, yes.

Software like Scrapebox is still useful to help find posts & manage "lists" that you can MANUALLY comment on.

I think the focus the majority of the SEO wannabes miss. Google best hones prescribe to cooperate Absolutely in and around your specialty by way of online journals and discussions. There are no notice about do take after or the no accompany stuff and moreover about how you will stay when observing on websites.

They utter that you cooperate and if your post makes investment individuals will take after once more to your online presence and this is what Google cherishes to see.

Agreed. Mass automated blog commenting isn't good for your rankings (or anything else). However, quality manual blog commenting on relevant blogs is good for your overall link profile. Even some nofollow links.

If you don't have any software already I have some free software available (see sig). Or you can Google to find others.

    Comment Kahuna is quite useful.

You can search for relevant blogs and scroll through them finding ones that you wish to comment on, not something i've used extensively but seems a handy piece of software.

I would not advise using any type of software for any backlink building it will do a lot more damage than good. Newbies get the wrong idea by thinking quantity is better than quality. A site could have 10,000 backlinks but if they are all junk (build by softwares) the site with 100 high quality manually built links will always outrank it. Furthermore, softwares will do nothing but spam every blog it can find, I get comments like that all the time and its so annoying, I never approve them. The comments they post add no value whatsover and Google will pick up on this and penalize your site like lightening.

So...reading your comments, the best option it would be searching blogs to post with Scrapebox (if possible) and then, comment on them manually, right?
