Hey can anyone help me? I have a site about Disneyland. I am ranked 5th for my niche (disneyland blackout dates) on google. I am getting between 15-30 unique visitors each day and I am not getting any clicks on adsense. I know I have good ad placement. It's my traffic. I need to get as much as possible. I have been back-linking with other Disney related sites and so far have my link on about 3 sites. I have lots of good quality content and am working hard on this site everyday.

Can you guys give me any advice to increase my traffic, clicks, and revenue?

Thank you so much for your help.

Your niche doesn't have any advertisers for your main keyword making most of your ads irrelevant. The website looks good, there just isn't any advertisers. When I search your exact keyword on google there is not a single ad on the first page. That is not a good sign for an adsense site. This doesn't mean you won't get any clicks at all.

When doing keyword research for an adsense site it is important to make sure there are advertisers for your main keyword. When you see the "Competition" is low on adwords, this means low to no relevant ads(unless its a seasonal niche).

Your website really looks good though and I'm sure there is something you can do with it.

Thank you for your advice. I do see what you are saying about the ads being irrelevant. I was hoping that the ads would be geared more towards hotel discounts, Disney's Vacation Club, Disneyland coupons, just things that annual pass holders may be interested in. These types of ads I have been seeing on my site.

As far as the ads on the home page, I have one 720 x 15 link ad at the top above the fold that kind of looks like a navigation bar, and I have a 250 x 250 text ad on the right sidebar in my Quick Tips section.

Do you think I should do something different? Ad placement? If this was your site and you didn't have a chance to recreate the keyword, what would you do to make the most impact for traffic, ad placement, seo, clicks and followers?

      Thanks again.

I would leave the top ad where it is for now. You may want to try moving the right sidebar ad to the left sidebar. You could also look into other advertising networks to see if you can find any ads that are more relevant to your site. I'm not an adsense expert by any means, but I know one thing that all of them will tell you..... test, test test, test, and then test some more. Not just on your homepage, your internal pages also.

Hopefully someone else on WF that builds adsense sites will help you out more than I can on the ad placement.

As I said before, the layout and design is nice and I'm sure someone on here will be of more help than me.

Thats a good idea. I will see what other advertising networks have to offer. Thanks for the idea.

Perhaps your keyword traffic for what you're trying to rank is too small. If the market is small, even if you rank #1, you're not going to get much traffic. It's like getting a big piece out of a small pie --> however you slice it, you end up with a small piece.

Perhaps find more keywords to rank, ones with more volume.

How would I go about optimizing for long tailed keywords and other keywords without changing my domain name? Do I just write content for those specific keywords and what else?

Just because your domain doesn't match a keyword doesn't mean you can't rank for it. Just write content around different keywords and try to include them in the url with %postname% in your permalinks. I would suggest you get the Wordpress SEO plugin by Yoast, it will tell you exactly what you need to do. There are tons of sites that rank very high for keywords that aren't in there name. Use your keyword as anchor text when linking to the content... Don't just link to your main page, build links to internal pages and you will have success.

Do some research on here and you will find a ton of different ways to rank for keywords, and apply those tactics to all your pages, not just the homepage.

I have twitter and facebook. I just don't know a lot of people to share it with. Not a lot of social media friends. Is there a better way to do that?

I was planning on writing some premium content that I will offer to the viewers if and only if they like the site on Facebook or twitter or something. Do you think that is a good idea to help get more traffic?
